"The most radical thing any of us can do at this time
is to be fully present to what is happening in the world"
- Joanna Macy

i love living systems. i study this incredible planet we're in and us living with it.

i'm interested in how we make decisions over long time horizons, about the complex problems that require equally dynamic solutions.

an overarching goal across projects is to better understand institutions, decision-making, and the incentives that mediate the impact of climate on social and economic outcomes. and, how these outcomes can be improved, especially with the most vulnerable groups.

My work has been at the crossroads of environmental and public health, climate and intergenerational justice, decision-making in the face of environmental risk, climate change communication, and the social dimensions of climate risks. I have a background in sociology and climate & society.
